ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

  • FLSA STATUS: Hourly $22-$24

General Summary:


This role reports to the General Manager and provides support to the entire Charleston team. While supporting the day-to-day administrative tasks, the candidate will also be the local contact to Corporate HR, IT, and other functional areas. The candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments at one time, be organized, and communicate at a high level.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide support for weekly payroll completion.
  • Provide onboarding support to HR and Opsource for all new employees.
  • Work with local staff and corporate finance to report and resolve billing and AR issues.
  • Be local contact for hardware / software issues and work with Corporate IT/HR to resolve.
  • Facilitate our Drug Free Workplace policy and support as needed.
  • Assist GM and staff to maintain calendars and reminders.
  • Provide weekly headcount report.
  • Work with functional areas to maintain monthly KPI scorecard for Superintendents.
  • Work with Business Development Manager and GM to plan and coordinate customer and local events
  • File and report Safety and Quality paperwork weekly as it comes in from the field.
  • Maintain apparel inventory. Distribute and reorder as needed.
  • Oversee local fleet inventory and monthly inspections. Keep GPS system up to date and accurate.
  • Order and maintain all office supplies.
  • Monitor and work with cleaning company to ensure office is maintained to our expectations.
  • Work with all other vendors as needed (ie – Landscaping, Fire Protection, Exterminator, etc)
  • Check mailbox daily and distribute.
  • Greet all visitors (vendors, customers, salesmen) with a smile, a friendly greeting, and a helpful attitude.
  • Monitor automated phone service.
  • Work with GM to maintain office credit card
  • Create and send prayer grams as requested and report monthly to HR.
  • Maintain office equipment to ensure equipment is working properly.
  • Any other administrative task as assigned.


Education, Skills, and Experience:


  • 5+ years successful in administrative experience.
  • Strong Computer skills (Typing, MS Office, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
